: Help... Wrapper doesn't work in IE7...
: webpartner May 29, 2008, 08:09:11 PM
I need to display another web site in a
full sized wrapper within the User Choice template...

I created a new menu item using the 'wrapper' option in joomla 1.5.3...

Pull it up in Firefox... hit the link... works great...
takes up the whole page just as it is supposed to...

Pull it up in IE7... hit the link...
it opens in a narrow strip in the middle of the page...

IE7 is confining the content area as if the left and right columns
were published even though they are not...

I tested this by temporarily setting the left and right column values to '0'
and sure enough, IE7 opened the wrapper the full width of the page...
Most other pages use the left and right columns so I can't just re-set them...

I need for IE7 to display the wrapper properly
and I haven't been able to come up with a hack...

How can I get IE7 to display the wrapper full width?

Thanks
Bob

Hi Mike...

Thanks for your reply...

Sorry about the delay on my part...

My daughter is getting married on the 21st
and between her and her mother, they kept
me pretty busy over the weekend...
but I'm back to work now...

This site is under construction and not
ready for prime time so I'm sending you
a PM with the address...

Thanks Mike
Bob

Hi Mike...

I just looked at the adjustments you
made and everything is working just as
it's supposed to in IE7...

I really appreciate your dedication to
service and the way you manage to get
around to everyone's problems and still
have time to come up with new stuff...

Thanks again Mike, I really appreciate it...
