: Very Slow Loading : chiprocks August 25, 2010, 09:43:46 PM Check out www.stcloudrugby.org. This site was running fine for a while, at least I think. I am not sure what happened. Right now it takes around 13 seconds to load most of the time.... sometimes longer. Every once and a while it will be very very snappy but that is the exception. I am hosting with Godaddy shared hosting. First thing I did was open a case with them but they said it was fine. The truth is I think for the $5 pay a month that they are not too motivated into looking into it. Either way I started doing a little internet research and found there is a ton of causes for this and Joomla....

I am looking at it this AM and it seems fine... WTH! I will try posting back when it is acting up. I am sure it won't take long. This slowness is about 90% of the time that I use the site (which is why I was thinking hosting).

If the problem is sporadic it would have to be the hosting. I would contact your host to see if they can monitor your server. |
