: mod_section Module : bossou September 21, 2010, 01:56:49 PM Hi there,
First of all I would like to say good job with all the templates and extention you create. I hope you can provide me some help with the below issue How can you download the module (mod_section module) when you don't download the full Eden_Rock site shaper? I have been working with the Eden rock templates for a week now. Everything seemed okay but I just realized that if you don't download the full site_shaper, you can't get all modules that comes with it. I previously downloaded the "basic" site shaper and when i tried to download the site shaper of Eden_rock I got the "Error! Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package." Will appreciate any help, sorry I have no URL to give as I am working on "localhost" Thanks and keep up the great job Bossou : Re: mod_section Module : mikek September 22, 2010, 07:50:19 AM Hello,
When you are on the module manager page click on New in the upper right corner to create a new module. Then click the Sections radio button to create a new sections module. : Re: mod_section Module : bossou September 24, 2010, 03:39:37 AM Hi Mike,
Thank you for the answer but i have been trying to install the full package with the site shaper. I try many times with the latest xampp-win32-1.7.3 but was getting error message: libraries\pattemplate\patTemplate.php on line 1424 and libraries\pattemplate\patErrorManager.php on line 202. After reading in your forum and searching on the web I have downgraded Xampp to xampp-win32-1.7.2, then try to install the Eden_Rock site shaper and now i am getting error message "Error! Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package". I am on localhost with all admin right and all folder writable. Could you please advise? Thx bossou : Re: mod_section Module : mikek September 24, 2010, 07:47:42 AM Hello,
Siteshapers are not installed into a pre-existing Joomla installation. They must be installed into a blank database and empty folder. Please refer to the following tutorial, this tutorial is for a different template but all site shapers install the same way: http://www.shape5.com/demo/pantheon/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=39&Itemid=89 |
