Hey guys, this will probably be a bit of pedestrian question.  But On the front page there is a column on the right of the home article, containing ad/polls and newest media clips.  And on the demo site when you go into an article, for example one of the tutorials there is also a right hand column with main menu and newest media clips.  The S5 Media player also stays at the top.

But when I go into an article on my own site, these things disappear.  The right hand column completely goes, and I am left with one massive article that's too big.  And at the top the S5 media player goes, and so does one other module, but one stays.  So at the top 2 out of three modules disappear out of the blue?  What is going on, its driving me crazy!!!!  Please can someone help me with this?

Edit:
The right hand column only seems to disappear with Category Blog Layout.  With articles, and Selection Blog Layout it stays...is this something to do with the layout of the template, how can I stop this from happening.  Thanks.

With Joomla pages are based off of menu items and what modules you have published to them.  So you can either have a module published on all pages or specific ones.  If you want modules to show on specific pages then you need to go to your menu manager and create a menu link to that article or page and then go to your module and assign it to that page.

That's awesome, thanks so much dude, this has been stressing me out no end.  Sorry I guess this is a basic joomla feature I should have known about...
