: S5 Shaper + Tienda Installation

First kudos to this new design template. I also have to add that the documentation on this new template is by far better than the other templates I have tried.

I have been playing around with Photofolio and Tienda  plugin/module. After using Site Shaper  and then installing Tienda, none of the data for Tienda was found. users, category, products, etc.

To view Abraham and Sarah's Photos click login at the top of this page and use the following:
un: Abraham and Sarah
pw: password

To view Michelle and Paul's Photos click login at the top of this page and use the following:
un: Michelle and Paul
pw: password

None of these users exist in the database, unless the sample data installed with SS never had it. What I did was after the installation (SS Photofolio + Tienda), I executed the SQL to the database which actually had the users and Tienda data.

I followed the instructions enabling the modules(which by the way didnt mention you also need to enable the Shopping Cart module) but the layout of the item list are all laid out in one column on the left side unlike the demo. I think this is configurable within the admin-teinda  category layout but in case you guys need to know how different the Site Shaper installer is with the actual demo.

I see the possibilities of this template and just need to tinker around Tienda some more :)

Thanks  :)  Really? Glad to hear the tutorials are easier to follow.

For the site shaper we completely removed Tienda and Jcomments and all database entries as to not cause issues when installing Tienda, Jcomments.  What you can do is try to import the SQL dump provided in Photofolio downloads.  I believe this contains all the sample data for Tienda.

Yes that is exactly what I did, imported the data after the installation. If I do decide to go with this template I probably would use Virtuemart instead. Although Tienda seems to show some good potential with it, its still on beta and infancy stage, very little support is provided from developers, aside from reporting bugs. Configuration support is not provided with the paid subscription and does not support Paypal API plugin yet.

Good job though.
