: v1.6 tab show adding simple content : skids February 24, 2011, 02:28:42 AM i have looked thru all forums but cant find how to 'nicely' add content to the tab show tab fields - i want a very simple site where my pages behind the main page has a tab show format - this will be the only data seen so how can i simply add article or straight data to each of the tabs... my understanding is that i have to create a module under module manager linking to thetab show tab but my selection for the module doesnt cater for straight content that i can see .. i realise people have asked this before but all the answers are for 1.5 not 1.6 ... please could you help ... unless there is a new site shaper for 1.6??? thank you

The functionality between 1.5 and 1.6 is still the same. When you are setting up the tab show make sure you complete the following: 1. Publish the tab show module to any pages you desire 2. Publish modules to s5_tabX positions (these are the positions that are the slides in the tab show), so s5_tab1 is the first slide. 3. Once you have those published go to the backend of the tab show module and assign titles to each of the tabs. That is all that is needed. You can publish any kind of module to the slides. So you just want a clean information slide it would be best to use a custom html module and simply type your own content in or upload pictures. : Re: v1.6 tab show adding simple content : skids February 24, 2011, 03:31:51 PM thank you - i have now done this but when i hover across the tabs they do not change to the text in each tab - always shows the first tab text - any ideas in what i have done wrong - sorry to be a novice
All cool - just solved it - my javascript library wasnt set to s5 effects - now works beautifully - yeah |
