: Life Journey - Site Shaper
: webbob427 February 24, 2011, 04:53:11 PM
I followed the instructions for installation of the Life Journey-Site Shaper. This was a clean installation. When I opened my browser as I would for a normal Joomla 1.5 installation, I got many, many errors. What to do?

I deleted a sub-directory and transferred all the Site Shaper files to the root of my server. I still get the same errors. Any help would be appreciated. I tried the same thing on localhost and all works well.

Hello,

The errors shown here are no such file errors and headers already sent. I would have to assume that some of your files are missing on you server. I would first suggest re-downloading the site shaper in case the download was corrupted and upload a fresh version of the files to your server and make sure to extract them directly through cpanel instead of uploading the file via ftp.

I cleaned my server root directory. I uploaded the Site Shaper using cpanel and used the unzip on cpanel. Now, the installation will not activate. I appreciate your patience and suggestions.

I continue to have problems with the site shaper. I have followed all instructions but still have no success. I have cleaned the root dir and reinstalled Joomla 1.5. I have used Akeeba backup and Kickstart.php to open the site on the server. Nothing works on the live server. However, on localhost I get a perfect site.

I could sure use to help.

Hello,

This would have to be an issue with your server then, it sounds like file permission issue. When I go to your site now it gives a 500 internal server error, which directly related to the configuration. Also, as you said it is working localhost. Most hosting companies keep a server log of errors so they may be able to diagnose the issue and found out if there is a server problem.
