Hi guys... i just bought a phpbb3 game crusade style cuz i really like it. great job on that

first:

Do i need to manually install the S5 Controls in my site even with preinstall version (site shaper )of phpbb3 game crusade?
How can i have the same menu bar (nav menu) as my main website in the phpbb3 forum?
There is a bridge between game crusade phpbb3 style and joomla template for users, so they wont need to login twice (site and forum).

I saw the video tutorial but it doesnt help much.

Yes a few but you will need to search joomla for that :)
The ones i know are jFusion and meniBridge  i think thats spelled right but not sure


I saw the video tutorial but it doesnt help much.
The install instructions have changed alot now im in the process of getting them updated

thank you for responding... but how come i cant see S5Control on my phpbb3? so i cant edit my phpbb3 style and menus as well.

All admin for styles is located on the frontend not the ACP.

P.S if your menu does not have Style Config item on it just browse to http://yourdomain.com/vertexAdmin.php

ok i installed and seems to be working good exept for one thing:

when i go to change the background color and i click on submit it just dont apply it to it. it get back to no color.

any help?

It seems that there are indeed some issues with the site shaper but please be noted that it has since been updated but the siteshaper has yet to be updated please give me 2 days an i will get the siteshaper updated then you will be able to reinstall for the last time and it should all work :)

I download the phpbb3 gamecrusade again ( " updated " ) but  it doenst work either... i have the same problem (menu bckground color doenst work... it get back to default).

2- also if i put the sidebar at right side, it doenst display anything there, seems to work only on left side.

3- How do you preinstalled this template with siteshaper , since am i the administrator i supposed to have full admin right to the board, but when i try to use PM system it says:  We are sorry, but you are not authorised to use this feature. You may have just registered here and may need to participate more to be able to use this feature.

4-How can disable/change  the copyright located at left bottom side.

5- I delelet all forums that comes with siteshaper, so when i went to create my owns one is kinda weird, cuz first at all i cant create forums Parents, i cant put forums under any Categories, and they got passwords  preset (i deleted but it got back on.)

im planning to install the template manually,,, can you tell me how to do it clearly, cuz i saw the instructions and they are no clear for me, maybe cuz in a noob at this? i didnt expect  this to be that hard.

OK i will take a look at these errors now for you :)

1: ive just installed the same version you have and tried the menu color and it works fine so not sure why its not changing for you you.

2: Ive just fixed this error im sorry it was a typo in the code but it works now :) .

3. The SiteShaper seems to mess with the permissions in a way i cant fix im improving the install everytime to try and fix this error. To fix you just goto permissions and give yourself them all again.

4. Copyright text is located in
Line 169.

5. To Install manually is easy the first thing you must do is Download and install phpBB3 latest version.
Then you must install the base package for vertex located here: vertex_framwork_2_0_0_base_crusade.zip (http://www.vertex-framework.com/download.php?f=vertex_framwork_2_0_0_base_crusade.zip)
you extract the contents to the foor of the forum and goto /install/index.php

Follow the instuctions and once compleate goto the ACP.

Then download the second file: AutoMOD_GameCrusade.zip (http://www.vertex-framework.com/download.php?f=AutoMOD_GameCrusade.zip)

Place it on your desktop.

Once thats done goto the tab labeled autoMOD in your ACP and at the bottom will be a browse button.

Browse for the file you just placed on your desktop then click Submit once thats done just install it :)

Then the only thing left todo is set the default style to Game Crusade.

Im so sorry i missed a few instructions on the manual install very sorry here is correct way to do it



To Install manually is easy the first thing you must do is Download and install phpBB3 latest version.

GAVE UP.... no more for me... tired of this. i just doesnt work as it supposed to.

i installed it and looks good but once i got to vertex  admin control panel (style admin) i want to change the color of the menu background it doesnt apply it to the Main menu. + when i go to menu to add new one... it just go to left down corner. see scrrenshots

i did a fresh install of the whole phpbb3, how come you saying i didnt redownloading the files, i did it.

i added the code to the bottom but didnt work  and try in middle either. so i attached the blank.css file so you can take at look.

btw how can i take off that little image in the upper right corner (i think its from vertex framework)

Sorry i never got back to you it was the weekend.

Attached is new blank.css

After upload please goto

ACP->Styles->Themes  and refresh GameCrusade

Then goto

ACP->General and purge cache then clear you browser cache and it should be fixed

im sorry i got back kinda a late but i wasnt my fault.. my ip for some reason was on blacklist of this server... so i couldnt get back on.. until i contact support and they kinda unbanned me (weird).

back to the file you sent it to me its no working... i replaced the file with the one you gave me,, purge the cache and same thing.

 :'(

i have tested what i explained above 3 times today and all give the same results the theme and vertex are working.

You must be doing somthing wrong sorry to say :)

i will test again in a few hours on a different machine and post my results.

sorry for delay my respond but i was away from computers.. i tried and guess what? its not working... i have attatchet the file so you can take at look.. i did what you said and purge the cache and this thing just doesnt work.

i am not willing to help you any more as what ive said is what needs doing you have so far edited the file i can see that from inspecting your site but you are not clearing the cache nor clearing your own or you are clearing the wrong cache its one of those three im sorry i cant help any further :(

1-You re not willing to help me anymore to fix this (product) that SUPPOSED to work out of box...
2-Your re not willing to help me anymore to fix this (product), cuz you said im not doing what you said (replace a text and replace a file  and clear cache on my phpbb3), plz explain me what im doing wrong, if its so simple to do it. How come someone can make a mistake Replacing text and files?

But Nevermind, its ok now if you dont wanna help me... ill try to fix it by myself, but i will put my inquiry regarding this issue to this site since i have paid  a suscription. for it and Ithink I  deserve a better SUPPORT SERVICE.

Its not that i dont want to help you its just im 100000000000000000000000000000000% sure what i said would work if it doesent then its a sever issue so you blaming shape5's service for this will not make much difference.

Ill give you admin rights of my phpbb3 so you can troubleshooting. if you want, just a though.
