: Items that have been trashed show up on the site. : najatuk May 13, 2011, 09:28:12 PM Sorry about this Jonahh, but I have discovered another bug in the Sea of Glass template as it pertains to Joomla 1.6. The issue is that the template displays on the front end for all users pages and categories that have been deleted. How to resolve this issue is for the most part explained here: http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?p=2398983#p2398983 (http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?p=2398983#p2398983) In the site http://brazilbirdguides.com (http://brazilbirdguides.com) The category in EN> Species is meant to display a single article named Species with the alias avifauna.
But what it is actually displaying is EN> Species EN which was deleted and there is a next > link to the article with the name "species-avifauna EN", an also deleted article. The page that is linked is named Species and the alias is simply "avifauna". I would have liked to have recoded the blog.php page as suggested, but the code is a little different, and in my case the problem is manifesting on a single article page not a blog layout. : Re: Items that have been trashed show up on the site. : najatuk May 16, 2011, 08:34:03 AM I seemed to have solved this problem for the moment without resorting to recoding the template. Either my browsers were caching the page, or by turning a category or blog format into a article layout and then back into a catetory or blog format the ghosties go away. We can consider this resolved, should the problem reoccur I can return to this post. Thanks and sorry.
