: Disappointed in Blog Layout : libertytec October 23, 2011, 07:42:58 AM I'm very disappointed in the way that a general blog listing page and an individual entry is laid out. It looks very jumbled and like not much thought went into it. I'll have to get a different theme for my client. I was hoping to be able to use shape5 for other clients but am not impressed by the quality of how basic wordpress functions are laid out.
: Re: Disappointed in Blog Layout : Tristan Rineer October 24, 2011, 10:38:28 AM Political was the first theme I converted from a Joomla template. At that time I hadn't yet created the code necessary to restyle the generic Wordpress blog layout and make it fit into the rest of the design.
That problem has been solved in the more recent releases and I will eventually be going back through the old ones and updating them to have most, if not all, of the features that the newer releases have. Before going somewhere else, I would suggest looking at some of the most recent releases to see if there's anything that you can use instead of Political. I will be giving Political a higher priority on my "to update" list, as it seems a lot of people use it. |
