: Anyway to Fade in and Fade Out Rather than Slide?
: mikegro December 27, 2011, 09:35:10 PM
On the S5 Image Slide (using it on joomla 1.7 and the paradigm template) anyway to have it just fade in and fade out rather than slide? Do you have another module that looks like how it does in the Paradigm template but fades instead? Also, I change the fader effect to say Cubic.ease.out or in or any of them and the fader effect doesn?t change... thanks

You could use the image fader module.   But other than this we don't have anything else

Some of the fader effects you dont notice a difference but just keep going through the list and you'll see that the transition will change

I used the image fader... however, I cant figure out how to get it to have the side shadows like the image slider has... that you see on http://www.shape5.com/demo/paradigm_shift/

when you look at my site at http://miles.webworxtechnology.com/ - the images are the same size... the module is the same size... and when I had the image slider on this very site it had the shadows on the side... but when I put the image fader in - they went away... I am sure its a css thing and not a specific module related thing... how can I put the shadows back in? thanks

the shadow images and such for the image fader or at the bottom dont work on IE8. I tried it on different computers.

Please post in the Paradigm Shift template board and Mike will be able to address this for you.  I don't support this template not sure about the ie8 support.

Thanks,
