If you would like to remove it from the entire site, it will be as simple as editing loop.php and removing a couple lines of code. But, if you only want to remove that section from the homepage, then there will be a little more work involved.

If you are in a hurry to have it done, I would suggest posting a request on the "Hire-A-Coder" section of this site (link in my signature). However, if you are willing to wait a week or two, I am in the process of getting the Wordpress version of Life Journey ready for release and will be available to look at the code for you once that is completed.
