i started all over again and cleared up all tables and installed joomla 1.7 and when i try to install eshopper current template and i get the following error. JFolder: :files: Path is not a folder. That's usually because of permissions problems. I has a permission of 444. So i changed it to first 644, then 755, then 777 and no success.
Just to test i installed the " real estate" current template and i worked just fine. On another site site that i have, the configuration.php is also 444 but it says writable in the system info. I am lost... :( : Re: Cannot install in joomla 1.7 : mikek February 03, 2012, 01:09:06 PM Hello,
I would try re-downloading the template then and try the install again. In case there is something wrong with your copy of the zip files. : Re: Cannot install in joomla 1.7 : debcampos February 04, 2012, 10:56:12 AM OK i re-downloaded from different computers and still getting the same errors, so i tried to download from a different browser. I was first downloading it on chrome and i last downloaded on IE and i did work!
Maybe the browser messes up something when file is downloaded. So its all good now! Thank you! ;D |
