: Can I make the departure date field 'optional'? : antfarm February 09, 2012, 05:59:53 AM Hi . I need to make the 2nd calendar field not a 'required' field as I may need to hide it altogether. I'm looking at the contact.js to see what validation is occurring - but my efforts thus far have stopped it working completely... :(
Can anyone help? : Re: Can I make the departure date field 'optional'? : jonahh February 09, 2012, 12:40:15 PM Hello,
Unfortunatly this would require some custom coding in order to achieve. You can post in the hire a coder area : Re: Can I make the departure date field 'optional'? : antfarm February 16, 2012, 06:24:21 AM OK - Fair enough. I have someone who perhaps can help me.
It's not a showstopper if I leave it for now. There is one remaining problem - that is the animated calendar refuses to pop up for the 2nd date entry when using IE 7 and IE 8. I thought it was only the right date field but it works if that is the first one clicked... Perhaps it's a width issue in the stylesheet. This is what I'm trying. Anyone see this problem? http://goldstarlimousines.com/index.php Thanks. : Re: Can I make the departure date field 'optional'? : jonahh February 16, 2012, 01:13:29 PM I just checked in IE7 and IE8 and it appears to be showing for me
: Re: Can I make the departure date field 'optional'? : antfarm February 17, 2012, 10:25:48 PM Really! That's strange.... but good. Maybe I was caching?
Thanks for looking. : Re: Can I make the departure date field 'optional'? : antfarm February 20, 2012, 04:10:46 AM Jonah.
I don't know what IE 7 and 8 versions you are using - because today at my other job I tested on IE 7 and 8 on 2 different machines and got the same problem - in the 2nd date field selected - it doesn't pop up the calendar. This was the error it was reporting. Message: Type mismatch. Line: 324 Char: 125 Code: 0 URI: http://www.goldstarlimousines.com/media/system/js/mootools-core.js I'd love it if someone could confirm this in Win IE 8. Or even better a way to fix it? :) |
