Hi,

How do I edit the top menu in Your Store?

When I go to Menu manager and topmenu and make changes nothing happens to the main menu at the top middle of the pages above the banner.

Help?

Hi Greg,

The menu above the banner is actually the main menu.  Just edit this menu and you should be good to go.

Only one problem with this, everytime I try to find this menu,

Menu Manager > ?

I don't see anything but the menu items and when I click on these I get to alter the name and that is it?


Have tried both Safari and Firefox.

If I manage to get there another way from some menu link on a page, I get to this and can see this menu.

I just want to be sure we are talking about the same menu.  You are trying to edit the menu that has the following items right?

If this is the menu then yes you can only change the names and menu images, change ordering, etc.  You can't change where they go/what they link to.  With Joomla you actually have to create a new menu item if the current one you would like to edit is incorrect/needs to change.  You then would have to delete the bad menu item.

Got it sorted.

It was the menu icon that wasn't clicking on, I was only clicking on the MainMenu text link, the one next to the radio button.
