You do not have permission to access the requested module. "

I am not sure where to go on this I have been reading your forum for the past hour I give up! Please help

Hello,

Have you completed the final step of the site shaper tutorial:

http://www.shape5.com/demo/aluma_photography/content/view/39/87/

You need to adjust the config file to point to your domain name.

I was able to upload the file to my sql data base all went well, then when I went to administrator\components\com_virtuemart\virtuemart.cfg.php there was not a cfg.php file in the folder.

I know I am almost there when I clicked on Components Virtumart from the back end you can now see the Virtumart store, however you do not see the icons etc...I attached a screen shot so you can see that the cfg file is missing from that directory.

Thanks!

Hello,

It should definitely be there, if it's not then you're missing files on your installation. I would also check via ftp instead of the file manager. Sometimes files don't show up in there depending on their permissions.

I did did that as well the file was not there - can I just manual upload the files that are missing? Or will that really mess it up. It seems like what I have done so far is getting me in the right direction, error message is gone, customer categories is showing up just not quite there.

Hello,

Yes, I would manually upload the missing file from the site shaper zip file. Download a fresh one in case your's in corrupted some how.

I just downloaded the sites shaper for joomla 1.5 one more time and the config file is not there. Is there a way for you to get me the files? I am so close I hate to give up, this site will be perfect for my client.

Thank so much for all your help and quick responses!

Hello,

I just did a fresh download and it's definitely in there. Make sure you are in:

shape5_aluma_photography_site_shaper_15.zip\administrator\components\com_virtuemart

There are about 30 files in that folder.

What you see in my last screen shot is what I have from a fresh download of site shaper. What I am missing is the config file that the instructions speak about where you have to enter your domain name for the last step of the vm store configuration. That is the file I can not fine.

Hello,

I'm not sure why it's not showing for you. I've tried on a fresh download and the config file is definitely there. Can you try on another machine in case the files aren't extracting properly?
