no puedo insertar videos,tengo el editor jCE y activado en configuracion global cuando pongo un video guardo y cierro y el video se va con el texto no pasa si con los videos,es muy raro porque con otras plantillas no hay problema que hago ? no se que hacer que en una plantilla no puedas insertar videos? y en el modulo de login registro cuando entras y sales la pagina web se queda bloqueada y hay que recargarla  espiritualguia.com   gracias  :'(

I am having trouble understanding what you are trying to convey to me. From what I gather you are trying to embed a video but are having difficulty doing so. There are a few reasons this could be happening.

1) You need to set the "Text Filtering" in the Global Configuration of Joomla to None for Super Administrators so it doesn't strip the code in the default editor. If you are using JCE or another editor you will need to make this setting in the extension parameters

2) Try using Editor - None if all else fails and save. Then revert back to your original editor.

3) If your embedded videos are causing your site to crash there might be a 3rd party script conflict with another extension that you will have to diagnose.

Hello Mike and the Shape 5 team,

I joined as a new member yesterday and I'm trying to install a new Sienna template into my already existing website. My hosting is tied into Joomla! 2.5 so compatibility isn't an issue, and after following the tutorials my problem comes from uploading the downloaded template. I have tried on both Chrome and Safari, and when I'm in the Extension Manager Install page I chose Package File. When I go to select the file it won't allow me to upload the folder as a whole, and even when I try to just upload one thing from the folder this comes up in red (Unknown Archive Type) Is there any advice on how I can upload this template?

Thanks Mike, I'll see if upload the templates to the server and remove I say because, well spent when updating to joomla 2.5 (quickstars) I blocked a module (the Login and Registration)   :-*

Make sure you are installing the correct version of the template to your site. There are 2 options:

1) Site Shaper - This is only to be used with a Fresh Installation of Joomla
2) Template - Current - This is to be used on an already existing Joomla installation to add another template style.

In Siena I install the template package, and to do well ..... until I upgrade to Joomla 2.5 (joomla template comes in siena 1.7) is when a module (exact and Cams login module) that blocks the template me, I've tried 5 times already installed, remove, reinstall, but mimo follow this error, because it can be? want to install it and yu denuevo you check the site and comets me? thanks

Upgrading from Joomla 1.7 to Joomla 2.5 should have no effect on the Template. The coding is exactly the same. If you are having problems with other modules then you will need to contact the developers of those modules for support. Certain extensions are only compatible with certain versions of Joomla.
