Ideally, I'd like to present new blog posts on the Home page AND the Blog page...in a way that is similar to this website: http://www.womenoffaith.com/ (http://www.womenoffaith.com/)

Specifically, I'd like to show the blog thumbnail and a summary on the Home page (rather than just a "Recent Posts" widget), and then, of course on the Blog page, too.

How do I do this?

Also, how can I get the post to appear on the Blog page?

To move the blog content off the home page:
WP Admin -> Settings -> Reading -> Front Page Displays -> A Static Page.
Choose the page you want as your home page (you can use the "category shortcode" plugin to make that page show posts as well), and then set the "Posts page" to wherever you want to have the blog.

This Plugin (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/display-posts-shortcode/) should allow you to display posts on the homepage as well, but you may have to tweak the css to make sure everything displays correctly.

However, neither the Category shortcode nor the Recent Posts shortcodes present the posts; they show only the post titles or the category list. See home page: http://www.majeskicreative.com/CWC/ (http://www.majeskicreative.com/CWC/)

How do I present the full post on the home page?

Try using the shortcode generator (I think it's under tools or settings) from category shortcode.  That's the plugin I used for the "sermons" area of the demo, so I know it's possible to show full content from a category.
