Hi there,

Are you planning to release j1.5 version of this template?

Cheers

Hello,

We discontinued making 1.5 products about 3 months ago.

OK

tnx,

Let me ask you this differently: is there a way of implementing responsive design on any of the j.1.5 templates?

cheers

Hello,

No this is not possible without custom coding, you'd have to hire a coder in order to do this

Tnx, can you please refer me?

Hi,

It seems to me 'hire a coder' is not so active.

Can you please tell me, to your estimate, how many working hours should it take?

Tnx,

Tamir

Hello,

We do not provide custom services.

Thanks, but i am not looking for shape 5 custom services.

I just need to know what such project consists of. Does it require changing the template framework from one to another?

Can you be more specific?

Tnx

Hello,

It's an extremely involved process to move a template from one version to another. There's no way for me to give you a specific list of requirements to do this type of work. It would require modifying at least 20 core Vertex files to do so.

Mike,

Thank you for your reply:

I was probably misunderstood.

I am not looking for the bits and bytes answer, but for an overall answer, so I could look for a programmer.

My question is this:  Could you please tell me what  the nature of this work is? Are j.1.5 templates built on a Vertex version that is different than the Vertex version of j.2.5 templates and we need the J1.5 template  to work on the Vertex version of j.2.5?

Tnx

Hello,

There is no Version 2 of our Vertex framework (which is what corporate response is built off) that is available for 1.5. As I stated above there are at least 20 files that would need to be modified to make the framework work with 1.5, so yes, there are two versions (but the version you are looking for does not exist). The work you need to hire someone to do is convert the 2.5 compatible version of Vertex to 1.5.

Mike,

Thank you for your reply.

Now I see what you are saying. I thought it requires template change rather than framework change.

I do not want to sound rude, but still, is there a chance you will release a Vertex version that supports j.1.5?

The logic behind this request is simple: since you developed the framework, making the modifications will be like a breeze for you. If I do it myself, I will need to bother you with many questions and issues. Aside from that, many people want to use responsive design but are reluctant to upgrade to j.2.5, by releasing such Vertex version, you  will make Shape 5 unique in the Joomla arena, since there are very few responsive templates for J.1.5!!!

Although, you dropped support for J.1.5, can you please at least think about my request?

Thank you very much

Tamirzzz

Hello,

I'm sorry but we have moved beyond Joomla 1.5 months ago. Vertex 2 was released for 2.5+ only. We will not be releasing a 1.5 version of the version 2 framework.
