: Images Fail to Load- Callie Rush Wordpress
: tworivers November 29, 2012, 02:59:49 PM
I am having the hardest time trying to figure out why my images will not load in the rotating widget on the home page.

The site i'm having the issue with is pcsedu.com/newsite.  I have tested all of the image url's and they all work.  I even set up another instance of callie rush at the url pcsedu.com/site and it seems to work there??  I really need it to work on my "newsite" can you please tell me what i'm doing wrong?

Thanks  :)

All I can see from looking at the site is that it appears the URLs aren't in the correct field of the widget options, or they're missing completely.

I would suggest carefully going over the widget settings to make sure everything's correct.

No it is in the right section of the widget because I tested it in another copy of the same template and it works.

Here is the section that i am putting the image in:

Enter The URL Of The Image To Be Displayed In The Top Section When Hovering Over Box 1. Example: http://www.shape5.com/picture.jpg:
http://www.pcsedu.com/site/images/home/body_Afterschool.jpg

It seems to work just fine in my other copy of the template.

Thanks for your help

I can't seem to find the problem from the front end; if you PM me login information, I'll take a look at the settings and see what I can figure out.

After looking at the widget settings and the plugin code, it appears that you most likely have another plugin active that is causing a javascript conflict with the part of the code that switches the images for each of the "tabs" of Frontpage Display.

The question now is which plugins you have on the new site that you don't have on the old one.

The most likely culprit would be one that uses jQuery.  The current version of Frontpage Display uses the mootools javascript library, and the jQuery library tends to conflict.
