: Modifying a Contact Form on New Vision Template
: aboutimage December 04, 2012, 03:23:35 PM
I'm using the New Vision template and I have questions about contact forms. I have some pre-existing assumptions that the issue may be related to Joomla, not your theme, but before I go forward and hard code anything, I wanted to get Shape5 input first:

(1) There is a title that says "Contact" at the top of each form, and then another title that says "Contact Form" below it. That's rather redundant. How do I get rid of one of the two?

(2) The Other Information title shows up at the bottom of the form -- that info needs to go up near the top, with the actual title "Other Information"  removed.

(3) I don't see any obvious way to add an upload button & captcha, but this would be needed as well.

I'm assuming that #'s 1 and 2 are probably related to the template, and #3 might be Joomla specific, but can you point me in the right direction? If it's a template form I need to edit, I'm perfectly functional with the coding, but if you could point me to where that file resides, that would help a LOT!

Here's a screenshot of the "offending" contact form:

Hello,

1. You can turn titles off in the menu manager under the parameters of that menu item.

2. If you need to move this that would require custom programming, we do not provide these services. That is the default Joomla contact layout.

3. That would require a third party contact component. That's not a feature of the Joomla contact form.
