: *SOLVED* H1 title 'Article' from home page links
: nibblers December 13, 2012, 10:08:03 AM
Hi

Hope you can point me in the right direction with this one, or provide the exact fix :)

Have a website in pre-production. I've placed a link from the home page in an existing module positioned in above_body_1 to a new article I created.

When I use the link to access the article there is an H1 tag "Articles" showing on the page at the top, See here http://92.48.127.100/~dgtest/site/index.php/component/content/article/33-company-static-information/209-design-and-install

How do I remove this tag?

Cheers

Simon

Hey,

This is an annoyance introduced in J!1.6, and is to do with an article being published which is not linked to a menu item. There are several ways to get rid of it, the simplest is to edit  /language/en-gb/en-gb.ini or whichever your language is.

Find the following -

JGLOBAL_ARTICLES="Articles"

And make it:

JGLOBAL_ARTICLES=""
