Your problem sounds like it's an issue in the plugin you are using; these forums are for Shape 5 support. I suggest finding the support area for the plugin and posting a request there. Shape 5 does not provide support for Third-Party plugins/extensions. : Re: Real Esatae Plugin : Tristan Rineer January 07, 2013, 09:51:30 AM The only reason that plugin was used was because there were a lot of requests for the Real Estate design to be converted to WP. There will not be any future releases that use third party plugins in the way Real Estate did.
Have you updated WP and all your plugins? It could be that you just have an outdated version. : Re: Real Esatae Plugin : ranlie January 07, 2013, 12:30:09 PM yes absolutely all the plugins and worpress is been updated to its latest version and it is not working properly when i tried to search the address that of the property that is listed i get no match return on my search when there is actually a property that is listed in it on that address that i use to search the property

As I've said multiple times, you will probably need to request support from the plugin author; however, I may be able to at least give you an idea of what information to include when you file a support request with them.

As far as I can tell, it's meant for general searches, not finding a specific address; that can be done through the main site search with 100% accuracy.

If you want the WP site search to find something specific when not providing specific details, then you'll have to make sure all the "properties" are tagged properly so the site search can find them.
If you're talking about the plugin search form, you'll have to go to the plugin developers site and ask there. I didn't write their code, so I don't know how their search is programmed to work. They probably have instructions on their site for how to improve the way you create properties so that they're more search friendly. |
