: Joomla 3.0.3 New Vision Accordion Menu links not working : judemac February 11, 2013, 04:36:04 PM Hi
I installed a New Vision site shaper (Template version 1.0.0). I then installed JCE/Akeeba Admin Tools and Akeeba backup. The Joomla version with the site-shaper was 2.5.7. The shape 5 vertical accordion menu sub-items would not pop-out on 2.5.7. I upgraded to 2.5.9 and they worked. I then applied the Vertex 3 patch and migrated the Joomla core to 3.0.3. The vertical accordion menu sub-items popped out but none of the links worked when left clicked (I don't mean the dummy ones!). If I right-clicked and selected open in a new window or a new tab they did work. I started again on a test site with a site shaper and applied the Vertex patch and I am now sure it was either the patch or the migration to J3.0.3 that caused the menu to stop working correctly. I read that the vertical accordion menu is built specifically for this template - is there an update of it I can download, or is a there a later version of the template than 1.0.0 with a fix? The most recent version of the extension on our site should be compatible with J3.0. If you install that and set it up and still are having the same issues could you post a URL so I can take a look? -Mike |
