: Site Shaper Error : bixmark November 18, 2008, 09:23:32 PM I just downloaded the siteshaper file for Architect today, then uploaded it to a new, empty directory on my web hosting service. When I go to that directory it does bring up the SiteShaper home screen, but when I click the continue button it can not run the PHP script. I do have two other joomla installations in two other directories on this same web host and they both installed and work correctly. The webhost uses MySQL 5.0.51a Running On MacOSX Server 10.4.11 ; MySQL 5.0.51a Running On MacOSX Server 10.3.9 ; and MySQL 4.1.22 Running On MacOSX Server 10.3.9
I did have a similar problem with an old install of joomla 1.5, but not with any of the more recent installs (I just installed a copy of 1.5.5 in another directory and it installed and configured just fine). The Architect template also works when run on that site, but it does not look very good and since I am new to joomla I really would like to install the siteshaper to start from. The site shaper is running Joomla 1.5.8 the newest version. You most likely will experience the same problem if you download directly from joomla.org. At the first step in the site shaper it functions and is an exact copy of Joomla 1.5.8 there must be something up with your server itself as you said you did experience this in the past. Have you contacted your host and let them know that its not serving up php pages properly? |
