I have used Maxed Mag to create a website with Virtuemart installed (Joomla version 1.7.0 Virtuemart 2.0.4). Are there any known issues with any of the plugins used with this template that would cause the site shaper to run extremely slow both on the front end and the administrator? I am unable to update product images in Virtuemart for example - it will just time out. I have tried this site shaper installation on two different servers, one with the database hosted locally and one with the database hosted elsewhere. Both installations are very slow. Any thoughts? The template wouldn't cause any of these type of issues. This would be server related. I would check with VM or see if your host has any more information as to why your server is being sluggish. -Mike |
