: Theme Options drop menu box missing after WP update
: wineglass August 04, 2013, 05:42:49 PM
Hi,

The Shape 5 Theme Options section is now missing after WP update.

The first line - theme specific / layout / menu etc is there
The second line - javascripts / fixed tabs / drop down etc is there

But the 3rd line is missing.

When I click on the Shape 5 Theme link on the left column. The 3rd line do appear but quickly disappears after a second.

Thanks
WG

Can you PM login info so I can look at the source to see where the problem is coming from?  I'm not having the issue on my test server or the WP demo, so I'll need access to a site that's having the problem if I want to fix it.

I have the same problem as well.
Any issue with WP 3.6?

It is most likely a script conflict between the new WP version and something in the pre-responsive releases.  I don't currently have a test site set up with any of the older releases, so if someone can provide login and FTP access to a site, I'll be able to find a fix a lot faster.

And I'm still working on it.  Hopefully I'll be able to have a patch ready by the end of the week.

I am working on a mini-patch right now that will update just the admin and nothing else.  The only issue with 3.6 is the admin, everything else works fine, so if you "roll back" WP to the previous version to set everything up and then upgrade again, you won't lose anything.  I know it's not the best solution, but it's the fastest one, and it'll work until I can get that patch finished.

Uum... how do you rollback? I have 3 websites with Shape 5 themes and they all have the same problem.

One of them I could not adjust the "s5_center_column_wrap_inner" since this was only adjustable to the Shape 5 theme options. No idea why it got changed from 10px right-margin to 556px after the WP 3.6 update.

I did use the pach....
It solve the problem on the Theme Options area, but the system is not saving the changes.
That means that I can change the theme options but my front page do not change.
I need more help!!!!!!!!!!!

You may have an issue with file permissions on your server then; I tested the patch to make sure that everything would work correctly, and the settings definitely saved.

If you would like to PM me FTP and WP Admin access details, I can take a look and try to find the problem.
