: Joomla update breaks Search function : jonguffey August 27, 2013, 12:16:50 PM Just to let you know, updating the current version of Touch of Soul to the newest Joomla 2.514 causes the Search function to give Server 500 errors. I've noticed some other unusual behaviors also with Login (not always able to log out) and the MP3 player.

The template itself doesn't control any of the search functions. If you are receiving an error 500 message this means the module is not configured properly for the server. Try reconfiguring the search module from scratch and see if this has a better effect. You can also try disabling SEF URLs on the server as well to see if this helps. Not sure on the other issues as I would have to see them but if you are happy with your current version of Joomla than that works for me. -Mike |
