: Instantiation Error
: rossecutor September 20, 2013, 11:54:47 AM
I am running a joomla 3.x site with Limelight on it.  I switched templates b/w limelight and a few of the stock templates and back again.  When I tried to return to the limelight template, I get a blank page.  No site comes up.  I can try any of teh s5 templates I have worked with, corporate response, general commerce and traction.  None of them come up, but all of my stock templates do, beez 5, blulestork and prostar.

Any suggestions on what is going on?

The site is www.carolinasilencer.com.

right now it is blank.  I have tried different browsers and get the same result.

Help please

Jeff

I, too, got the same error and was told by the webhost to delete all my files & database(s) and start over.

Hello,

I just tested a fresh download for both the Site Shaper and Standalone files and they appeared to be working properly. I would suggest removing any Template Files from your site and reinstalling a fresh copy in case they are corrupted.

Ok, I am trying what you suggested.

I have deleted all of the s5 templates.  The beez2 still works.  When I tried to install new limelight template, I get the following:

DateTime::__construct() [datetime.--construct]: Failed to parse time string (jerror) at position 0 (j): The timezone could not be found in the database

Did I corrupt my database somehow?

Hello,

It looks like it.

Try installingl the Site Shaper to a fresh database on your server following the tutorials and it should work properly.
