: False upgrade notification IE 6 : michiel October 10, 2013, 04:27:17 AM Hi,
I'm randomly getting upgrade notifications for IE6 when trying to access pages on my site. It doesn't do this for all pages, but here's one that I get the notification on: http://www.tekstmeester.nl/nofollow-links-nuttig-of-verspilde-moeite (http://www.tekstmeester.nl/nofollow-links-nuttig-of-verspilde-moeite). The notification says that "You are using Internet Explorer 6.0 or older to view the web. Due to security risks and a lack of support for web standards this website does not support IE6. Internet Explorer 6 was released in 2001 and it does not display modern web sites properly. Please upgrade to a newer browser to fully enjoy this site and the rest of the web." I'm getting this message on all of my browsers: IE10, Firefox 17 and Chrome. I have attached a screen shot of the notification to this message. Thanks, Michiel : Re: False upgrade notification IE 6 : mikenicoll October 10, 2013, 02:20:16 PM Hello,
I took a look at your site but I wasn't able to replicate this. I would suggest just disabling the warning in the Template Manager and it will not pop up anymore. -Mike : Re: False upgrade notification IE 6 : michiel October 10, 2013, 02:27:44 PM Wasn't aware of this option in the Template Manager. Disabled it. Thanks Mike!
