This is same issue it seems as post here:
http://www.shape5.com/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,75/topic,31665.msg127819/#msg127819

I am having the same problem with New Vision. Just stated from scratch. Fresh install of Wordpress (I didn't update WP to 3.6.1 yet), then uploaded Shaper via FTP, then activated injector plugin (it's now deactivated), went to view site and top menu does not expand down to view submenu/links etc. the way it should like on the sidebar sample in the accordion menu.

Can you provide a URL so I can see what's happening in the code?

Now it seems to be working. That is strange. Wasn't working yesterday...

Is there a good tutorial for this theme on how to make all the adjustments, etc?

There seems to be some issue with IE. I am using IE 9. No issue with Chrome or FireFox. There was no issue earlier because I checked, not using IE. I checked using IE 9 on another computer and and top menus still not working. This is an issue if these menus will not work use IE. Please let me know the status of the bug/fix, etc.

Seems like IE8 has no issue. IE9 there is an issue. I don't know about IE 10.

Hello,

I am sorry, there is an issue with the way the menu is called. Please download the attached patch file and extract the files to:

wp-content/themes/s5_new_vision/

That will over-write several files and cause the menu to be called properly now in IE9.

What about for IE 10?

Hello,

I just checked your site one two machines with IE9 and they both loaded the menu with no issues. I noticed your server is taking a very long time to load, IE9 does not load javascript until the entire page loads because it doesn't support ondomready calls; so the page has to finish loading before it will show. I would suggest checking on another machine in case the old scripts are cached somehow on your machine from loading it before.

IE10 was working with no issues before, and I verified it again and it is still working on your site as well.

It appears that sometimes the menus load correctly and sometimes they do not in IE9. This is a problem.  It should work 100% of the time without having to cross your fingers. I tried on another computer and the 1st try, the menus didn't load. Another time it did load. This pattern is not something that will work for me.  If it were flawless out of the box 100% of the time then I can understand using it and even paying for it. As a result, I will be looking for a different theme. Please issue a refund within 24 hours.

Hello,

We have tested your site on four different machines using IE9 and all of them loaded the menu with no issues at all every time. If it's not loading for you periodically that's either a local issue or a server latency issue. A periodic issue like you are mentioning would not be a fault of the theme, since the same exact files are loaded every time on the site. As I stated above your server is taking a very long time to load, and a server latency issue could cause the page to time out, which would mean your server is not letting all the scripts load. A server latency issue is not the fault of the theme. As it stands now three developers have looked at your site, from four different machines, and none of us can determine any issues. You can also view the same files on our demo server and see that the menu is loading properly there as well in IE9.

In the last 24 hours, i moved the site to a private VPS, instead of shared hosting and the site now loads quickly without any menu issues. I did have to install the patch though for it to work with IE9.

Hello,

I'm glad you got it working on your different server. The shared server was most likely the issue. Shared servers seem to get slower and slower by the day anymore, I don't know if hosts are allowing more connections to them or more users on them or what. If you have not done so already, would you please remove the chargeback from Paypal since the theme is now working for you?
