: How to remove "Articles" text at top of pages
: joomladaze November 19, 2013, 05:41:41 PM
I just updated the joomla for the traction template, and now all the back pages have the text "Articles" on the top. This was not there before. Looks like its everything in the "Ramble West" category.

Under the "Work" drop down menu, every video thumbnail goes to a video page with a vimeo player. That's where the "Article" text is. My client wants this site super clean. He hasn't noticed this yet. Hoping to remove it asap.

Examples:

http://ramblewest.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=408
http://ramblewest.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=419
http://ramblewest.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=382

Thanks in advance!

For now I made edits to:

/public_html/language/en-GB/en-GB.ini
JGLOBAL_ARTICLES="Articles"

changed to JGLOBAL_ARTICLES=""

That works, but there has to be a better solution. I never could have figured this out on my own.

Hello,

That bug has been there forever. Your solution is fine and actually documented on Joomla this way as well.
