: design control cannot find xml setup : shape9 December 31, 2013, 12:17:27 AM i have joomla 3.2.1 installed. when i upload design control template using extension manager it says cannot find xml setup file. can anyone help? thanks

Are you installing the template or the site shaper? Often times members try to install a site shaper install via the template manager and get this error, which is not a correct installation method. Only templates get installed this way. If you're install the template you most likely are having a timeout issue on your server because all the xml files are there. I just downloaded design control template and tried to upload it in the extension manager. It gets to 100% then gives the error...

I just tested this and it was working properly for me.
