1. Image and Content Fader doesn't show up on the IPAD but it does show when I check the IPAD interface on http://www.responsinator.com. Domain is http://mpleadershipcoaching.ca/ 2. Also, the background color for the content background is defaulting to white on my PC but dark on the IPAD. I tried adding a color on line 740 in template.css which changed the correct area on the computer screen but my IPAD is still displaying the dark background. Responsinator assumes the site you're checking is responsive, so it just resizes the desktop version of the site, it doesn't actually test for mobile.
The difference you'r seeing is between the desktop and mobile versions of the site. The only widget positions that are visible on the mobile version of the site are the Mobile Top (1 & 2) and Mobile Bottom (1 & 2) positions. If you want the Fader to show on the mobile site, you'll have to place a copy of it in one of the mobile positions. As for the background color, I'm not sure why it would be doing that, and I don't own any Apple devices to test it on. I don't remember if Sports Nation was one that had the option, but you may be able to test the mobile version in Firefox and look at the backgroun with Firebug (http://getfirebug.com/) by adding the ?mobile=1 URL argument. |
