: Quick Contact Form Not Working on Metro Shows : seahawks February 18, 2014, 06:15:52 PM I have successfully changed between S5 themes - Sports Nation to Metro Shows. The quick contact form in the Right position module is not working at all. I have checked the forum boards and cannot find a similar issue
All settings fields have been setup in the widget - the email address to be used is [email protected] (no decimal points). I have not entered anything in the "excluded words" fields. Width for text boxes is set to 94% and height 55px. Once details are entered into the contact form, clicking the "send message" button does not produce any messages, or trigger any action. Do you have any suggestions? The url is jeanlittman.net, contact is on the front page, right position. There are major changes in the framework going from non-responsive to responsive.
There have also been some cases of jQuery conflicts caused by duplicate copies of jQuery being loaded; this thread (http://www.shape5.com/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,75/topic,33566.0/) on the Wordpress FAQ (http://www.shape5.com/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,75/topic,23923.0/) has a patch that fixes the jQuery loading issue. : Re: Quick Contact Form Not Working on Metro Shows : seahawks February 19, 2014, 02:03:45 PM Thanks for your reply. I have checked the plugin - Quick Contact version 3.0.1 is the version in both the shaper and the new theme installation. I have checked the quick contact form in the shaper, and the result is the same - neither forms are working as intended. The two url's are:

I usually use Contact Form 7 for my sites, as it can custom create any form layout.
As I haven't had anyone else complain about that plugin, it's most likely something about your site or hosting that is causing the problem.
