: Problem with the tabs : tingvalla February 20, 2014, 11:32:52 AM Hi, BIG problem with ie9 perhaps earlier versions too?
See attachments 1 (ie9) and 2 (chrome). Have scanned this forum for tips but had not find anything adequate yet. It should be like picture 1. Adress to the site http://www2.tingvallahemmet.se/ : Re: Problem with the tabs : mikenicoll February 24, 2014, 10:58:12 PM Hello,
I took a look at your site in IE8/9/10 and it was appearing like picture #2. That is the correct layout #1 seems like you have an open tag somewhere on the page that is causing the layout to break. If you still see the issue try a different system and make sure IE isn't in compatibility mode. -Mike : Re: Problem with the tabs : tingvalla February 25, 2014, 01:49:29 AM Okay. I have three different pc:s and IE9 in one of them, there tab show is wrong but okay in all other pc:s and browsers. Other people with IE9 have told me that tab show is wrong in their browsers too. I don?t think everybody have the same problem in their IE9 browsers.
This is the wrong forum and I think the subject is moved. I have realized that some days ago and posted it in the right forum. Thanks so far. : Re: Problem with the tabs : mikenicoll February 26, 2014, 06:27:16 PM NP
-Mike : Re: Problem with the tabs : tingvalla March 02, 2014, 09:22:50 AM I thought s5tabshow questions should be under it?s own forum but a little bit confusing I?m moved to this forum.
Just tried with another pc and IE9 and it looks lika pic 1 = wrong. Mike mentioned something about an potentially open tag somewhere on the page but did you meant the code only for tab show or the code for the whole site? I do not think such a thing should affect the tab show so hard. Is there any solution? I send my login info as a PM to Mike and perhaps you can have a look? : Re: Problem with the tabs : mikenicoll March 03, 2014, 08:49:46 PM Hello,
I tested this on 2 different systems in IE9 and the tab show is appearing properly on both systems. You most likely have either an old cache, 3rd party browser plugin or a browser setting that is causing this. I attached a SS of IE9 on your site with a cleared cache on both my systems. -Mike : Re: Problem with the tabs : tingvalla March 04, 2014, 09:33:11 AM Sorry, I have cleared the cache but still distorted tab show. Both for me but also for a person with a pc with IE9 which never before had visited the site.
: Re: Problem with the tabs : mikenicoll March 04, 2014, 07:04:38 PM Hello,
Does it happen on a specific page or all of them? I tested this on both my systems and the Tab Show is appearing properly on both of them. Would need a way to replicate the issue other than the image since that doesn't show me any coding. -Mike : Re: Problem with the tabs : tingvalla March 06, 2014, 04:24:45 AM If you need login I can PM the details to you.
This is the address for the webiste: www.tingvallahemmet.se : Re: Problem with the tabs : mikenicoll March 06, 2014, 11:50:59 PM Hello,
I tested this again on that URL and also had a co-worker test this in IE9 and it was appearing as my screenshot that I posted earlier for both of us. I would maybe suggest reinstalling the extension and clearing your browser cache and site cache completely. -Mike : Re: Problem with the tabs : tingvalla March 08, 2014, 03:25:29 AM Nope, I have reinstalled tab show, cleared the cache many times and so on. It doesn?t work. I have 23 days left on my subscription, waiting and see if more people which use IE9 complain. After 23 days I can not ask any more questions here. I dont seem like it is any use dig more in the problem for the moment, but it is a pity. We will se what happen. Thanks for your efforts so far.

Sorry we could not replicate the issue but every system I tested the Tab Show was appearing correctly as per the screenshot I posted. -Mike |
