: Better editing feature for "HTML To Display In Box"?
: eskimoroll April 02, 2014, 11:13:01 AM
Hello,

The html I have created for "HTML To Display In Box" is getting quite complex, is there a way this editing window can hook into the Default Joomla editor?

I tried putting the html into a Custom HTML module and calling it with "loadposition" to no avail... a previous thread indicated that only html was interpreted in this box.

Aside from creating the content - this website's content will often be changing...so I'm thinking ease of maintenance as well.

note: I am using css to limit markup, but even the structure of it is complex.

Any other suggestion?

edit: What really would have worked for me would have been to choose an article instead of providing a bg image and html overlay for each panel.

Thanks in advance

Hello,

No, modules don't work with editors. There is a mini editor that can show in a module backend, but it's not really anything like the article editor. You can't call another module from another module with loadposition or call content inside of the area from article, the module is designed only to use html in the boxes.
