: Easiest way to downgrade from 3.x to 2.5? : jboylan April 25, 2014, 12:36:51 PM I used the Oasis template and developed a 3.x website. Now because of compatibility issues with a specific component, we need to go back to 2.5. What is the easiest way to do this? Can I download the 2.5 version of the template (with site shaper to get the 2.5 joomla?), install, put my content back in and re-use the template.css file? Or would I be better off starting over from scratch? Ugh!

You can simply copy over the 2.5 template files, the extensions are all the same for both versions. But I don't know how you will downgrade Joomla itself as the entire database is updated when you upgrade. There's no way to downgrade Joomla that I know of. |
