I want too use the template shopping bag. i have msql 5.5.20 joomla 2.5 my question is what version of virtuemart can i use with the template. i tried virtuemart 2.6.0 but is does not work perfect with the template. i have even try to install shopping bag current. that is joomla version 3 . but it stops at installing example template and it does not go any futher. i hope you have some answer for me : Re: shopping bag virtuemart : mikenicoll May 26, 2014, 07:58:01 PM Hello,
Our Templates will install without any issues provided that you are following the correct procedures and have the proper server requirements. http://www.shape5.com/joomla_tutorials.html http://www.joomla.org/technical-requirements.html Any Extensions will also work with our products as long as they are supported by the CMS and use proper javascript calls that do not conflict with other site wide functions. if i install the joomla 3 that i download from ww joomla.com. it installes perfect not a problem at all. but if try too install shopping bag site shaper current. joomla 3 start up the installer the database installes perfect. when it wants too install the exaple templates it keeps loading i have the software keep going about a hour but it keeps going. that meens joomla 3 bold installs perfect it works perfect. but with the siteshaper it hangs. marcel : Re: shopping bag virtuemart : mikenicoll May 26, 2014, 10:38:53 PM Hello,
That sounds like your server has an upload size max limit being enforced in the PHP settings. I would contact your host about that as the only difference between a J3.0 Fresh installation and a Site Shaper is 1 more added style. Xampp often has a lot of issues with installations specifically related to those with database imports. I would try using WAMPP to see if you can install with that program instead. There are usually a bunch of local settings you need to change in XAMPP to get it to work properly with database imports such as Site Shapers. For Shopping Bag there are downloads for J2.5 and J3.0 depending on your preferred version. -Mike |
