: Favicon Issue : mosfly45 May 31, 2014, 10:11:22 AM I original uploaded a favicon with a white background and later replaced it with one that had a transparent background. When I enter the direct path to the favicon, it will show the correct image. In Google Chrome, you have to click away to another tab to check this since the current tab you are on uses a white bg.

The Template has no effect on the favicon. The browser will load whatever is saved as the favicon.ico on the server. Note that this can take some time for the browser to update and pull your new favicon. Some programs used to make .ico files also can have issues loading properly. -Mike |
