i am really familiar with databases and also joomla things but first time i got an error when i am installing joomla i change 4 times the folder which i installed in i change 12 times database names i change backup old database and remove old database i change my browser but if i install another template it works, but this template doesnt continue for the process during installationit just stay stuck as the attachment. what should i do ? : Re: database connection problem : mikenicoll June 21, 2014, 11:06:20 PM Hello,
I tested an install live and locally and it was working on my end. Make sure you are using an up to date PHP Version on the server. Also be sure that MagicQuotesGPC is turned off and you clear the browser cache/cookies in case some install data is being stored elsewhere. Another thing to check would be your servers memory limit and php max upload limits. If these are set to low it might not allow the installation to read off the files properly. -Mike |
