: Controlling the responsive behaviour of the Custom_4 position
: agould June 22, 2014, 01:31:15 PM
I have published a module to the custom_4 postion so it is displayed to the right of the article text in the component area. When I resize to about 1060 px it disappears.

I am trying to find out where I can control the responsive behaviour and cannot see it in the layout control for Vertex. I have tried the Single Center for Small Screens settings but I think that only control columns in the component area, not this custom position. I would like to get it to behave in the same way as the other modules (i.e. stack on small screens).

What am I doing wrong please?

TIA

Hello,

Can you post a URL with this module active?

Sadly not because it is on a WAMP installation at the moment.

Perhaps you could try publishing a module to this position on a test installation and see if this problem can be replicated.

I will move the WAMP installation online shortly to an online test environment. Once I have done that I can give you access.

TVM :)

Update: I have just checked the CorpWay demo. On the home page this module is published and if you resize the window it disappears. I may well use the Left position instead, but nevertheless it would be useful to know if the Custom_4 position can be shown when resized to smaller screens.

I must say that the more I explore this template and the Vertex framework the more I am impressed!

Hello,

That position is supposed to disappear at 1050, it's only fro desktop view. We state this on the demo and the tooltip for the size paremter of custom_4. You can use left or right, which are similar positions, but stay on the screen for all sizes.

Hi Mike,

Thanks. I have just found it! I was looking under Row Sizes.
