This is your Component Container used for articles. You can toggle it off for any menu item under the General Tab in the Template Manager.

That screenshot is just showing what the Info Slide is supposed to do. That area is supposed to slide up to the top of the box when hovered over. If you do not want this functionality then you wouldn't want to call the Info Slide script.

I took a look at the URL you posted earlier and it looks like you have removed the call to the info slide and removed the area in your screenshot.
