: twitter module

Hi

Is there a recommended twitter module? We are currently using corpway theme  and would like to embed our twitter feed into the main page.  Rather than reinvent the wheel, I was hoping someone has already been through this process

thanks

Hello,

We had a twitter module ourselves, but we discontinued it to due to some updates within in the twitter API. I don't have one to recommend, but any that you find on extensions.joomla.org will work with our templates.

I'm actually struggling over this, which is surprising as there are lots of modules out there. I've been trying to get the one we currently use workign with corpway but it does not show in any position.  Widgetkits twitter module (yootheme). I've also just installed the one by theme xperts and again cannot get it to show in corpway.   Only one I've got working is absolutely horrid lol.

Hello,

You would need to contact the module's developer about this. A template wouldn't control the functionality of a module.

I also tried different Twitter modules. Like you I tested a few free modules but I was not happy with the. I ended to implement the original Twitter widget from their website. You need to go to https://dev.twitter.com/ and use the "sign in" on the upper right corner. You'll have the opportunity to use different styles by customizing the code. Create a new Joomla Module using Custom HTML and publish it on one of the available positions.

Hello,

The above method is also how I generally implement the Twitter API. You can use a module if you like but some of them are unnecessary unless you need the added styling.
