Hello,

Which Template are you using? If you already have a site with a Template installed you just need to use the Template - Current download from our site. The Site Shaper's are meant for brand new installs on fresh databases. You shouldn't need to unzip anything either, just download the -Current file and upload it through the extension manager in Joomla.

Hello,

Make sure you are installing the template and not the site shaper.  If you install the site shaper you will get this error.

Mike, I think I'm running into a similar situation.  I'm trying to install Blue Group into my /public_html folder (not a subfolder), and the Site Shaper install is not working.  I've followed your video tutorial to the letter and still am not getting similar results.  What ends up happening is that everything seems to go fine right up to the point where I am supposed to see the first-time Site Shaper configuration pages (two of them).  What I get is a generic Joomla installation, not the Blue Group templated installation.  I am unsure how to manually start/restart the initial Site Shaper configuration (where you enter the database and other basic config information).

Guidance, please?

Hello,

You would need to completely remove the folder/files from your server and create a new database. Also ensure that you choose to "Install Sample Data" or the Template files will not install.

Okay, I've done that but am still getting the same response (I'm up to about five clean installs at time, including completely resetting the hosting service to default state followed by a completely clean install of Joomla, BlueGroup, MySQL).  I am extracting the BlueGroup .ZIP in the /home/xxxx/public_html directory (I didn't want to create a subdirectory.

What's next?

If you click install sample data this will get you the default data installed for Blue Group.  If you are doing this and its still not working you can PM me login details and all the info to setup the site shaper (username, password, etc for database).  Otherwise we aren't really sure what to suggest at this point without taking a first hand look.

Thanks
