Hi Guys

I have no idea what could have happened to my login and register buttons.

They are there but do not link to a login/register page, nor could they pop up.

I removed the modules thinking that i would not need them, in their current position, but it turns out that i do.

Please can you assist. I tried this tutorial of yours but did not come right.

Let me know if you need screenshots or anything. I dont require the s5_box module for this exercise, i only want them to go to their respective pages.

but should i just need to disable the pop up and just link through to the Login/Register page?

If you are using alternate URL paths for the Login/Register links you should disable S5 Box. This will prevent the box from popping up onclick instead of just redirecting to your alternate URL.

Sorry for my belated reply. I dont have any redirect URL. It is all standard.

When i got the pop up for the login to work, i could not click on any of the fields or links or anything on the form. So i disabled the popup and created a manual login and register module.

If you have a resolution to this issue i would appreciate your assistance, as i have depleted my brain on trying to figure it out. Does not help working 18 hours a day :)

The popups are only designed to work with the default Login/Register positions. The positions you added have no correlation to the S5 Box module used for the popups. Setting up specific positions to open with an onclick to the S5 Box module would require custom programming outside of the support we offer via this forum. If you use the default Login/Register positions and the S5 Register / Login module are not working I can take a look at that for you and tell you why they aren't working.

If you want a 3rd party to program custom positions to interact with a light box you can also post in our Hire a Coder section of the site.

Not to stress, i reverted to removing the pop-up and reverting to the standard Joomla login/register page.
