: Is there any way to hide the photo menu to give more room for content
: jlguerber January 22, 2009, 01:09:10 PM
We are just implementing the Kite Photography template.

Our site will have many photographs with links to many sub-pages containing information about items in the photographs. So far, we find that the main menu takes so much vertical space that images in our main content area do not appear on the screen without scrolling.

We'd really like to be able to have the images and links in the main menu change as we drop deeper into the site, always leaving the Home button available to restore the original main menu. But we understand that might take a lot of elaborate coding

So as an alternative, is there any way to just hide the main photo menu on all but the home page and raise the main content higher on the screen? We could then place a row of images at the top to provide navigation, including a link to Home in the leftmost position.

What you could do is copy the template and then use the copy only on the homepage with the image menu enabled.  Then take the first copy of the template set as default and enable the regular suckerfish on this one.

Dear all,
I have installed Kite Photography on joomla 1.5.
Is it possible, .... I would like to have two menu on the main/home page (Main manu as a Image menu and second Top menu as a Suckerfish).
So, I would like to have image menu only on the home page under Top menu, and Top menu on all other page.
Thanks for help,
