Hello?

First I would disable any 3rd party plugins.  I see you have some sort of calendar extension in the article on this page where the Reservation module is located also.  Most likely there is a conflict between the 2 modules.  I can see this right away on your site because the Reservation module shows up with all the accordions open.  They should be closed and open only when clicked on so something is conflicting with it.

I checked the calendar pages on the site and yes, the reservation panel is open, but only for a very brief second.  It closes and stays closed as it is intended to be displayed. However, that really does not explain the error we are receiving in the email bounce. It's saying that it can not understand where to send as the "to" field in not being populated.

That really does not sound like a conflict with another plug-in.

Jonahh, were you able to discern what the issue is?

Hello,

You should have a PM from me from last week, did you receive it?

Ok so it was your "Content - Email Cloaking " plugin that was causing the issue.  I disabled this and now its working.

First let me say Thank you for all your support correcting this issue.
That module you found we believe was actually part of the download for the Corporate Response s5 template.

We have two smaller changes that maybe you can at least point us in the right direction to amend.
1. We need to change the word Beds to Boats
2. In the drop down of that same field, you can not see the one, two, three, options until you mouse over them because of the font color being white.

Thanks

Sure, you are welcome.

1. You can open up the language file here and edit this:

\language\en-GB\en-GB.mod_s5_reservations.ini

2.  Try adding the below to the bottom of your template.css file:

:
#posBeds {
background:#f1f1f1 !important;
color:#000000 !important;}

Thank you again! Great support!
That information was extremely helpful and we made all the necessary changes.

: Re: Spinning circle of death - delay
: probass March 23, 2015, 07:52:17 AM
Hi Jonah,

We have one more small problem that we need to deal with on the reservations form. It is taking a minute and a half for the form to finally acknowledge on the front end "Thanks, your Email has been sent!". On the back end, there are no errors, and the form is posting exactly as it should, so no problems there. Can you think think of anything that would be causing this delay.

Your support is greatly appreciated.
Kathy

Hey Kathy,

It sounds like a server side issue.  For some reason there is a delay in sending the email, the coding of the module can't speed up or slow this process down its the server that sends the email.  So I recommend reaching out to your host and let them know whats going on, they should be better able to assist you from there with this.

Regards,

Hi Jonah,

I checked and was told that validation process that the script is doing on each line of information in the form is what is delaying the final confirmation. This is what they see:

Hmm I'm not really sure why this would be an issue as we've had many users deploy the module in its current state without this issue. You could hire someone to perhaps code the module to send in a different method for your server.  I would still say its server related as no one else (us included on our demo's) have this issue, maybe the server is just slow?
