: Hide feature for menu items : sopnet December 04, 2014, 04:14:50 AM It would be nice if the vertex hide feature would also work with menu items.
example: Very Long Menu Item Title class=hide_700 : Re: Hide feature for menu items : mikenicoll December 04, 2014, 04:54:51 AM Hello,
Thanks for the suggestion. I am not sure this is possible based on the way the menu classes are structured in Joomla but I will bring it up at the next development meeting to see if it could work. : Re: Hide feature for menu items : kittrad January 22, 2015, 08:55:08 AM Hi, sorry to bump this up but I'd love to see this one implemented. Count me in.
: Re: Hide feature for menu items : jonahh January 22, 2015, 02:15:14 PM Hey Guys,
This is actually currently possible for Joomla 3.0 templates that also have a link CSS style. Some don't like separators and external URLs I believe but those that do this will work fine on first level menu items (not for subs of parents). Please see the picture Jonahh posted above. You would edit the menu item in the menu manager and add the class under the Link Type tab. |
