: installing siteshaper without Joomla? : lakeside December 18, 2014, 12:06:46 AM I want to install a joomla template, Photobox, to my website so that it looks like the demo site, all the content and such. Mu problem: I already have a joomla install, I have Siteground hosting, and a domain already up with joomla installed. I just want to change the default template to Photobox. My problem is when i just installed Phototbox it looked like nothing, had no content to shape it. I'm not sure what to do here? Thanks.

If you want a copy of the demo, the only way to do that is with a site shaper. A template install cannot install demo content or modules. Please follow the tutorial given here: http://www.shape5.com/documentation/Getting-Started/How-to-Install-a-Joomla-Site-Shaper : Re: installing siteshaper without Joomla? : Melodrama December 30, 2014, 01:41:39 AM Or else... install the siteshaper as a 2nd Joomla-install so you can look one-by-one at all the settings and make changes to your 1st site.

That is definitely the best way if you don't need Joomla. You can have separate tabs and toggle back and forth copying and pasting the content that is needed. |
